A: A virtual race is an event that can be completed at any time and anywhere. Participants can walk, run or complete the distance using any other method, such as cycling or swimming. After registering, participants can complete the distance and upload their finish time to receive a finisher’s medal.
A: Register for a virtual race/purchase a medal and complete the distance anytime and anywhere you want, even on a treadmill. After completing the distance, upload your finish time to the event website. A finisher’s medal will be mailed to you after you upload your results or at the end of the race period, whichever comes first.
A: Yes! Participants of all ages and ability levels are welcome to participate in virtual races. Whether you’re fast or slow, a walker or a runner, you can complete the distance at your own pace and on your own terms.
A: No, you don’t have to complete the entire distance all at once. Participants can break up their virtual race into multiple segments, or complete it all at once. Virtual races are designed to provide motivation to help you achieve your personal fitness goals.
A: Yes, you can walk a virtual race! Participants can walk or run the distance and complete the virtual race at their own pace.
A: Virtual races often support a wide range of charities. At March On Events, a portion of all proceeds goes to charity. Check the event description to see which charity is supported.
A: Yes! Virtual races allow participants to complete the distance using any method they choose, such as cycling, swimming, rowing, or any other mode of transportation. Just register for a Custom Challenge and select the appropriate mode when registering.
